STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe:

  1. The Bible is the written Word of God, the inspired, infallible, and authoritative source of Truth. (2. Peter 1:21) (1. Thessalonians 2:13)
  2. There is one God, and Yeshua (Jesus) is His only Son. Together with the Holy Spirit, these three Persons form the Godhead. (Deuteronomy 6:4) (Isaiah 43:10-11) (Matthew 28:19) (Luke 3:22) (John 14:16)
  3. Yeshua is both fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life that He could become the perfect, spotless Lamb sacrificed for our atonement and forgiveness of sin. (Colossians 2:9) (Philippians 2:7) (1. Peter 18:19) (2. Corinthians 5:21) (1. John 3:5)
  4. His broken body and poured out blood on the cross purchased our salvation and redemption. (Matthew 26:26-28) (John 6:51, 53-54)
  5. Yeshua’s resurrection and ascension are our hope for a victorious and eternal life with Him. (2. Corinthians 4:14) (Romans 8:11) (John 11:25)
  6. He will return again soon in power and glory to unite all things in heaven and earth. (Luke 21:27-28) (Colossians 1:19-20)
  7. When Yeshua returns to set up His rule and reign, we will all stand before the judgment seat of God, where the faithful will be rewarded and the faithless will be judged. (Revelation 20:4) (Matthew 16:27) (Matthew 25:31-46) (Revelation 20:11-13)
  8. We are justified by faith in Yeshua and His completed work on the cross. (Galatians 2:16) (Romans 5:12-19)
  9. The indwelling and empowering presence of His Holy Spirit is essential for us to live out our commission on earth to be disciples and to make disciples. (Ezekiel 36:27) (Luke 24:49) (Acts 1:8)
  10. By His Spirit, we are empowered to do the works of Yeshua as He establishes His Kingdom on earth through us.  (John 14:12)
  11. As believers, we are to live in unity with one another through Christ, serving one another in brotherly love. (John 13:34-35) (Colossians 3:12-14) (Galatians 5:13) (Ephesians 4:2-3)
  12. Israel is God’s chosen people and land, and their calling is irrevocable. (Deuteronomy 7:6-7) (Psalm 135:4) (Romans 11:29)
  13. As gentile believers, we are grafted into the spiritual inheritance of Israel as priests called to minister before the Lord. (Exodus 19:6) (Isaiah 61:6) (Revelation 1:5-6) (1. Peter 2:5, 9)
