COMMUNITY

Located in the Troodos Mountain range in Cyprus, a little island in the eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea, a small community was formed in obedience to God’s call. In 1999, a Messianic jewish family, the Rudolphs, received word to move to Cyprus and establish an altar of worship and prayer unto the Lord. Over the years, they received people from many nations seeking to be discipled, thus forming Gateways Training School.

Countless teams, driven by His love for the world, have gone out from this place to minister the gospel to the nations around the globe, and encourage local believers.

As an expression of our commitment to God’s purposes both in Cyprus, and the greater Mediterranean region, our ministry purchased a piece of agricultural land which has become the hub of our activities.

In 2017, Norman and Kerstin, a German couple who have been part of the community since January 2003, were entrusted with the leadership and the continued formation of this Kingdom expression.

Gateways Beyond and its founding fathers are looking back on a long standing history with ministries such as Tikkun Global, Tents of Mercy and Caleb Global.

Our community is given to a daily rhythm of corporate devotion to God, where we freely choose to surrender our everything. He has the first place and all must humbly bow before His throne.

We believe that community is a reflection of Gods very own heart. As we surrender to God, our continual sacrifice and vulnerability enables us to live out restored relationships that abundantly flourish our heart and soul.

Jesus commanded His followers to go and make disciples of all nations, teaching them the gospel of the Kingdom. Our ultimate goal in making disciples, while being disciples ourselves, is leading all unto Jesus the Messiah. “My sheep hear my voice and they follow me.”

Studying the scriptures, we recognise Gods faithfulness to Israel and the Jewish people. We believe that Jesus will come again as the glorious King of Israel, extending His rule from Jerusalem to all the earth.

God’s heart is yearning for the nations and all peoples of the world. Preaching the gospel, serving the poor and encouraging the local body of believers are pillars of our mission to help establish His Kingdom in all the earth.

While much of Western society, including the church, has been removed from the soil — the Bible is not. We believe that God created us as sons and daughters with a divine purpose to steward creation, the work of His hand.
